Created Value v Inherent Worth
To valorize, means to makw an absolute and clear distinction between
your inherent worth (which is unquantifiable, and a given - you have life)
and
the created value of your work.
Confusing the two creates a devaluing effect on life itself!
Inherent worth means you are worthy of what you need or desire, even when you don't have it. And you are worthy of creating and receiving value even when you aren't.
V A L O R I Z E assumes that creating and receiving value are skills within a condition of unequal starting points; there are systemic forces, power dynamics and inequities that create de-valuation and barriers to having value be recognised.
My ability to create value is not a reflection of my inherent worth.
